“Fuckiro” Table for Enzyma \ Gianluca Sgalippa Posted: 02 May 2012 06:34 AM PDT At the Milan Design Week 2012, the brand Enzyma develops table theme, which was absent from the collection, offering a model with a high emotional impact. Fuckiro, designed by Gianluca Sgalippa, is a table of small size and simple shapes. Shocking, however, is its contribution decorative. It belongs to the type of "side table" or the "end table", that is accessory to keepsitting next to or near the bed. It is a little "easy" and, simultaneously, an object of great scenic effect. The support surface, by lacquered wood, is supported by a bundle of knitting needles parallel to each other. Its weight (however small) is distributed overmany very slight stems. But not all. From the bottom, the black light of the LEDs is reflected on traits in fluorescent colors, creating a shower of acid splinters which splits the darkness. Fuckiro is designed for a life in daylight, but the dark produces a performance further, like psychedelic, that transforms a simple table in a micro-disco. In keeping with the general philosophy of Enzyma, Fuckiro fully expresses the contemporary dimension without sacrificing taste and timeless without accomodate the sudden changes of fashion.
