HILLSIDE 'improve your quality of life'

This fireplace is inspired by the hillsides and using it evokes the feeling of being on a hillside. Warm and comfortable emotions accompany you whilst you lie on your back on its ergonomic seat beside the fire.

Hillside is comprised of an ergonomic sofa chair, and a coffee table, that integrate seamlessly together. Both have been designed using only three natural materials: oak, natural stone, and glass. Hillside can be used as a simple and stylish coffee table when entertaining friends, but on cold nights can be converted into an extraordinary fireplace in just a minute. And then when you are relaxing alone, it can be changed once more, with a quick touch, into a relaxing sofa chair and fireplace. Hillside is so quick and simple to use that your life will change, just as you deserve it to. This creative idea makes your life easier and economises on space.

It's adjustable, adaptable, efficient, and compact. In the comfort of your home you will feel far away from the stresses of everyday life. It will improve the quality of your life, the way you breathe, and the way you feel.

Our fireplaces offer you a unique, warm, and cosy ambience in the comfort of your own home. In addition to being functional, practical, and beautiful, our fireplaces are also environmentally friendly: they run on an eco-friendly bioethanol liquid fuel which is both easy and safe to use.

Flying Cavalries' Fireplaces offer you 3 new free-standing models. They are each inspired by natural elements. They are: Hillside, Aurora and Magma.

Flying Cavalries is a company set up in London, UK, in 2009. It is located in the heart of the industrial- and interior-design sector. The company consists of a dedicated pair of designers, one of whom is a fully-qualified architect, and the other a fully-qualified product designer. Both have a reputation for possessing an artist’s sensibility and vision in their projects.

This young team always find creative solutions to design problems and they are able to translate the requirements of customers into successful design proposals. It is their ability to produce bespoke designs using professional illustrations and the ingenious use of materials that make these designers succesful.

Previously Flying Cavalries have focussed on interior design, and have for many years created custom designed products for their clients. They have put the experience gained there, and their unceasing enthusiasm, into their new project of designing and producing unique pieces of furniture and fireplaces. Their main aim has always been to create extraordinary items and they embrace and use cutting edge technologies in their design process. NATURAL ART IS REINTERPRETED WITH TECHNOLOGY, RESULTING IN PRODUCTS THAT REMOVE THE COLDNESS OF MARBLE

This winter, we will be introduced to a period that brings us one step closer to the trend of naturalism; a trend that we have been familiar with for a long time and one in which we are able to shape our 'internal shelters' by returning to self. With this trend, the cold image of the marble is done away with by the revolutionary technological innovations, and our perceptions are changed through the use of ultramodern textures, whereby the marble is reintroduced in its finest form. In taking the vibrant colors of nature with us, we are now able to use the 'Aux Naturales' and 'Comforting Luxuries' color palette scales, where natural tones prevail, including icy tones, pure white, ivory, brown and cream.

The pure texture of the famous Spanish Crema Marfil marble is conveyed on ceramic with a special manufacturing technonogy. The series has the white color option together with the natural beige; and it enables various covering opportunities with its 33×50 and 25×75 cm wall tile dimensions.
