Giò Suspension Lamp | Nemo Cassina Lighting Posted: 03 Feb 2011 06:46 PM PST Minimalist, neo-decorative, cartoonish, functional, elegant … there are not enough adjectives to describe the characteristics of the novelties that Nemo – Cassina Lighting will be launching at the week of design in Milan. At Poltrona Frau Group's Milano Design Village (Via Savona 56, Milano), Nemo will present floor and table lamps, wall lamps and suspension lamps, which share the language of vanguard design, sophisticated materials and technology, and the love of fine details. Creators of the novelties of 2011 are the numerous exclusive Nemo designers, alongside young talents and prestigious names, including Agata Ruiz de la Prada and Javier Mariscal, and Masters of Design, such as Le Corbusier, Charlotte Perriand and Franco Albini. Pictured below: Giò, the hanging light designed by Angeletti Ruzza Design. Dematerialized to its very essence, Giò describes – with a circle that resembles the materialisation of a gesture – the source of illumination. Sophisticated is the solution that incorporates the electric cable within the lamp structure so that it serves a dual supply/support function. + Design: Cassina Lighting (Angeletti Ruzza Design) | http://www.nemo.cassina.it/ |
