KiBiSi debuts at Milan's annual design fair Salone Internazionale del Mobile 2010 this week, featuring a limited edition chair for Wallpaper* magazine and a piece for Quinze & Milan.

Designed by KiBiSi for the Danish Pavilion of the Shanghai World Expo 2010, the Shanghay chair is composed of 4 small boards of molded plywood folded around each other to form the simplest chair imaginable merging legs and seat, back and structure into 4 constituent parts.

The Wallpaper* color combination is a product of the commissioned limited edition of Shanghay chair made in collaboration with the Danish fashion brand Wood Wood. It is produced in only 250 pieces and consists of 6 different finishes that can be disassembled and reassembled to create your own personalized chair.

Tripart Chair for Quinze & Milan

The Belgian designer brand Quinze & Milan invited KiBiSi to create the ultimate simple knock down chair. We took an origami-like approach to avoid major tooling and out came a chair made from folded aluminum plates, from the least parts necessary to do a rational knock down chair. As the chairs are easy to disassemble and reassemble, you will be able to create your own hybrid designs by recombining colors of your choice.
